Who would have guessed that 2025 can be the return of Shadows of the Empire to our Star Wars Cabinets. Not me, although I’ve at all times needed a Black Sequence Spiker and Gizz.
I had the unique Luke in Guard disguise from this line and by no means cared for it, and whereas I feel it’s intelligent that they introduced in some Clone Trooper armor parts as form of a retcon, it’s not calling me. That likeness is simply so off to my eye. Nonetheless, it’s a neat Star Wars armored man with the helmet on. Leia does have some enhancements on the unique Boushh and it’s re-release, however I’m unsure the brand new head and shinier metallics on some components are doing it for me. For one, the attention print makes her look tremendous scared. Although now that I give it some thought, that might be applicable for her scenes with Xizor. Whereas this set isn’t fairly my cup of tea, I’m nonetheless to see what they do with Chewie and Sprint from Shadows.
The set goes up for pre-order on Pulse right this moment 12.11.24 at 1PM ET for Premium members and 2PM for everyone else. It is going to even be on the Disney Retailer at a later date, most likely nearer to the deliberate launch date of Spring 2025.
